ON / OFF RESET

Power on

Press your Passport Cover’s power button once to turn on. You will hear a confirmation sound, indicating it is turned on.

Power off

To power off, quick-press power button 2 times, then long-press for at least 5 seconds. You will hear two beeps, indicating your Passport Cover is powered off. (When device is powered off, you cannot find/view its location). If your Passport Cover is not paired within 10 minutes, you will hear a beep, and it will automatically power off. Power on to continue pairing.

Factory reset

Quick-press power button 4 times, then long-press for at least 3 seconds. You will hear a confirmation sound, indicating that the factory reset is complete.

PAIRING

Ensure your iPhone is set up and your Passport Cover is powered on.
Open the Find My app.
In the Items tab, tap Add New Item.
Tap Other Supported Item (your iPhone will search for your Passport Cover).
Once “Satechi Passport Cover” is detected, tap Connect.
Follow the onscreen steps to name it and register it to your Apple ID.
Ensure your Passport Cover appears in Items. If not, remove item and perform a factory reset on the Passport Cover (see “Factory reset” above), then reconnect.

Do not leave Find My app while pairing Passport Cover.

CHARGING

Charge your Passport Cover with a compatible wireless charger.

Note: Wireless charger not included.

Battery

Battery life up to 5-months on single charge. It is recommended to fully charge your Passport Cover once every 3 months.

SAFETY WARNINGS

Do not expose the device to temperatures below -10°C (14°F) or above 35°C (95°F).
Do not expose the device to an open flame, submerge it in water, or expose it to rain as this will damage the device.
Always check for damage to the device, cables, or other accessories before using the device. If damaged, do not use the device.
Do not attempt to disassemble, modify, or use sharp objects to damage the device in any way, as it may cause serious damage and void the warranty.
Do not expose the device to corrosive liquids, or high humidity as they will seriously damage the device and void the warranty.

IMPORTANT

Only compatible with iOS, iPad0S, and macOS.
Compatible with most wireless chargers.
Will only magnetize with magnetic wireless chargers.
