Please read this document carefully to understand the ZOLAR® Blade 120C (hereinafter collectively referred to as “this Product”) and use it appropriately. Refer to the official website (www.z-cam.com/zolar) for the latest version of this document and updated product information.
If you have any questions about installation or operation, please contact Shenzhen ImagineVision Technology Limited (hereinafter referred to as “ImagineVision”) or its authorized distributors/resellers.

Safety Guidelines
This Product is not intended for use by persons under the age of 18. Keep out of reach of children.
- Keep children away when operating the product.
- Do not stare at the light source as it may cause permanent eye damage.
- Wear gloves before touching heated surfaces of the product to prevent burns.
- Wear gloves when touching sharp edges and corners of the product to prevent cuts.
- Position the power cables so that they will not be tripped over or accidentally pulled out, causing the product to shut down.
- If an extension power cable is required, the minimum amperage rating must not be lower than that of the product’s own power cable.
- When using the device with an AC DC Power Adapter, connect it to a grounded power outlet only.
- Do not place the product near any flammable or volatile liquids to prevent potential damage.
- ZOLAR® Blade 120C is rated IP66 and must not be submerged in water.
- If using the ZOLAR® Blade 60C near water or in the rain, it is recommended that an earth leakage circuit breaker (RCD or GF) be used to protect the user and the device.
Installation
- Rotate the Tilt Lock Clamping Lever [29] to adjust the inclination between the LED panel and Yoke for ZOLAR Blade 120C [27] (hereafter referred to as Yoke). Rotate counterclockwise to loosen and clockwise to tighten. The angle of inclination is adjustable up to +360°.
- Mount the LED panel onto the light stand’s head mount using the Spigot [28].
- Repeat Step 1 to adjust the inclination between the LED panel and Yoke [27] afterward.
Power Supply
Using Power Supply Unit [20]
- Connect the ZOLAR Controller Cable 16M [30] to the Receptor Cable [01] of the LED panel.
- Connect the ZOLAR Controller Cable 16M [30] to the Controller Cable Port [08] of the Controller Unit [02].
- Connect the DC Power Cable (3-pin) [32] to the DC Power Input [07] of the Controller Unit [02].
- Connect the DC Power Cable (3-pin) [32] to the DC Power Output [26] of the Power Supply Unit [20].
- Connect the AC Power Cable [31] to the AC Power Input [23] of the Power Supply Unit [20].
- Finally, connect the AC power plug to an AC power outlet (110~240V, 50/60Hz).
- To disconnect, ensure that the power switches on the Controller Unit [02] and Power Supply Unit [20] are in the off position, unplug the AC Power Cable [31] from the power outlet, and then disconnect the other cables in sequence.
Note: When using this power supply method, the Controller Unit [02] and Power Supply Unit [20] can be mounted on the V-shaped clips behind the LED Panel.
Using Battery*
- Connect the ZOLAR Controller Cable 16M [30] to the Receptor Cable [01] of the LED panel.
- Connect the ZOLAR Controller Cable 16M [30] to the Controller Cable Port [08] of the Controller Unit [02].
- Slide the V-Mount battery onto the V-Mount Battery Plate** [05] from the top of the Controller Unit [02].
- Push gently downwards until it locks into position.
- To unmount the battery, press and hold the Quick Release Button [04], then lift the battery upward.
* Only 14.4V~28.8V V-Mount batteries can be used, which are not included in the standard package. When using battery power, the Power Supply Unit [20], DC Power Cable (3-pin) [32], and AC Power Cable [31] are unnecessary.
** Controller Unit has V-Mount and Gold-Mount Battery options. Follow the Gold-Mount Battery option as needed.
Power On/Off
- Verify the power supply connection.
- Turn the Controller Unit Power Switch [06] and the Power Supply Unit Power Switch [25] to the “|” position.
- To power off, simply turn both power switches to the “O” position.
Menu Operation
- Press the Menu Button [18] on the Controller [03] to enter the menu.
- Rotate the Rotary Encoder [16] clockwise to move the cursor downward, and anti-clockwise to move the cursor upward. Press to confirm selection. Press the Menu Button [18] to return to the upper-level menu.
Correlated Color Temperature Adjustment
- Press the Mode Button [17] on the Controller [03] during standby mode, rotate the Rotary Encoder [16] to select CCT, and press to enter the CCT menu.
- Press the F1 Button [13] to enter CCT adjustment mode.
- Rotate the Rotary Encoder [16] clockwise to increase the color temperature. Each click increases 50K, with the highest value being 20,000K.
- Rotate the Rotary Encoder [16] anti-clockwise to decrease the color temperature. Each click decreases 50K, with the lowest value being 2,000K.
- Press the F1 Button [13] again to lock the current color temperature, and exit the CCT adjustment mode.
G/M Color Balance Adjustment
- Press the F2 Button [14] on the Controller [03] during standby mode to enter the G/M adjustment menu.
- Rotate the Rotary Encoder [16] clockwise to increase green tones and decrease magenta tones. Each click increases by 0.01, with the highest value being 1.00.
- Rotate the Rotary Encoder [16] anti-clockwise to decrease green tones and increase magenta tones. Each click decreases by 0.01, with the lowest value being -1.00.
- Press the F2 Button [14] again to lock the current value, and exit the G/M adjustment mode.
Intensity Adjustment
- Press the F3 Button [15] on the Controller [03] during standby mode to enter the intensity adjustment menu.
- Rotate the Rotary Encoder [16] clockwise to increase intensity. Each click increases by 0.1%, with the highest value being 100%.
- Rotate the Rotary Encoder [16] anti-clockwise to decrease intensity. Each click decreases by 0.1%, with the lowest value being 0%.
- Press the F3 Button [15] again to lock the current intensity, and exit the intensity adjustment mode.
HSI Mode
- Press the Mode Button [17] to enter the Mode menu.
- Rotate the Rotary Encoder [16] to choose HSI mode and press to confirm selection.
- Press the F1 Button [13] to enter the Hue adjustment menu, and rotate the Rotary Encoder [16] to adjust the Hue value (range 1° ~ 360°).
- Press the F2 Button [14] to enter the Saturation adjustment menu, and rotate the Rotary Encoder [16] to adjust the Saturation value (range 1% ~ 100%).
- Press the F3 Button [15] to enter the Intensity adjustment menu, and rotate the Rotary Encoder [16] to adjust the Intensity value (range 1.0% ~ 100.0%).
