CUBE BABY: Portable Multifunctional Guitar Effector
The CUBE BABY is a portable and versatile guitar effector. It offers three editable presets, allowing users to customize the effectors chain and save their settings. This device comes with a built-in battery and features nine preamp selection slots, effects such as Chorus, Phaser, Delay, Reverb, eight IR CAB slots, and a tuner. Additionally, it supports mobile phone recording, Bluetooth, and functions as a computer sound card. With its wide range of functions, ease of transport, and excellent sound quality, the CUBE BABY is an ideal companion for guitarists.
Power Supply
- It includes a built-in battery that provides up to 6 hours of power after a full charge.
- The device can be charged using a 5V adapter or a power bank.
- When the battery runs low, use a DC 5V/2A adapter to fully recharge the battery in 2 hours.
Effectors Chain
The effectors chain is organized as follows: Tuner -> Preamp -> Phaser/Chorus -> Delay -> Reverb -> IR CAB.

Device Features
- IN: 1/4″ MONO audio input jack.
- Power Switch: Toggle the device on or off.
- USB Jack: Use this to charge the battery. The CUBE BABY can also function as a sound card for a computer. You can edit 3 groups of presets on your computer and import the IR files via your computer.
- Audio Output Jack: Supports mobile phone recording.
- Earphone Output: Connect earphones for private listening.
- OUT: 1/4″ MONO audio output jack.

IV.Effectors module
Attention: Please make sure that CUBE BABY is in LIVE mode, then you can listening-test the 1-5 items of effectors below.
1. PREAMP
® TYPE Knob:
Select the type of Preamp. There are 9 different types available. Please refer to the list.
® GAIN Knob:
Adjust the gain.
® TONE Knob:
Adjust the brightness.
2. MoD
MOD Knob: The left half-circle is used for CHORUS, and the right half-circle is used for PHASER. When the knob is in the middle position and the indicator is turned off, it means the MOD has been turned off.
3. DELAY
- TIME knob: Adjusts the feedback speed of the echo repeats in the delay effect.
- FB knob: Adjusts the number of echo repeats in the delay effect.
- MIX knob: Adjusts the ratio of wet (effect) to dry (original) sound in the delay effect. When the knob is set to the far left and the MIX indicator turns off, it means the DELAY has been turned off, and these three indicators for DELAY are turned off at the same time.
4. REVERB
- REVERB knob: Adjusts the ratio of wet (effect) to dry (original) sound in the reverb effect. When the knob is set to the far left and the indicator turns off, it means the REVERB has been turned off.
5. IR CAB
- IR CAB knob: Selects the types of IR CAB. There are a total of 9 slots: the first slot indicates that the IR has been turned off, while slots 2 to 9 are for selecting 8 different types of IR.
6TUNER
In TUNER mode, these six knobs represent the six strings of the guitar. When you turn the corresponding string, the indicator on the knob will light up.
In TUNER mode, when you turn the string, these three knobs show the pitch:
- The “»” indicator lighting up means the string is pitched too low.
- The “W” indicator lighting up means the string is at the correct pitch.
- The “«” indicator lighting up means the string is pitched too high.
Product Summary
Bluetooth Functionality
This product supports Bluetooth (BT). To toggle BT on or off, press and hold the A+B footswitches for 2 seconds. A steady blue indicator means BT is connected, whereas a flashing blue indicator shows BT is on but not connected.
Mobile Phone Recording
This product allows for phone recording via a recording cable connecting your phone and CUBE BABY to achieve high-quality recordings.
Modes: LIVE, PRESET, and EDIT
- PRESET Mode: Default mode for performance, with three preset configurations that can be edited in LIVE or EDIT modes. The footswitches A/B/C correspond to these presets.
- LIVE Mode: For real-time performance. Users can customize effects and use footswitches to toggle effect modules on or off.
- EDIT Mode: Allows fine-tuning and editing of presets. Users can adjust effectors, with knob lights indicating whether an effect is active.
Customizing Effectors Chain
Instructions for customizing an effectors chain include entering LIVE mode, selecting effects, adjusting parameters, and saving the configuration to a preset. This process involves using the footswitches and knobs to select and modify effects.
Software Interface
- IR Editor: Allows searching and selecting IR files, adjusting microphone distance, and saving configurations.
- Factory Reset: Option available to reset parameters of the three presets.
2. Presets Parameters Editor
- Select the Preset: Choose the preset you need to edit. If the software and CUBE BABY are on the same preset, you’ll hear the real-time sound of the editing.
- Adjust Effector Chain: Modify the level of the current effectors chain.
- IR CAB Adjustment: Adjust the IR CAB settings.
- Reverb Adjustment: Modify the reverb effect.
- Delay Adjustment:Change the ratio of wet and dry within the delay effect.
- Alter the number of echo repeats.
- Adjust the feedback speed of these echo repeats.
- MOD Effector Editor:Use values 0-6 to edit the CHORUS.
- Values 7-8 are used to turn off the MOD.
- Values 9-15 are used to edit the PHASER.
- Brightness Adjustment: Adjust the brightness of the preset.
- Gain Adjustment: Modify the gain setting.
- Preamp Selection: Choose the type of preamp for the preset.
- Save Button: Click this button to save your edits to the preset.
