4. Precheck
To ensure safety, ensure that your Aiks meets the following conditions before use:
- Aiks has sufficient power.
- The fingertip controller has sufficient power.
- Aiks’ paw pads are intact.
- Aiks’ legs are intact.
- Aiks’ limbs can move smoothly without any obstruction.
- Aiks’ back, chest, and abdomen are secure and undamaged.
- The surface of the camera and sensors on Aiks’ head is clean and neither covered nor blocked.
- The detection radar on Aiks’ back is clean and neither covered nor blocked.
- The app functions properly.
Summary of Operator Requirements and Preparation for Aiks
Operator Requirements
Aiks operators must be at least 14 years old and possess suitable cognitive and behavioral abilities. It is advisable for younger children, older adults, expectant parents, and individuals with disabilities or health issues to use Aiks under the supervision of guardians or friends.
Preparation Steps
- Verify Aiks’ condition, including battery level, operating status, and physical appearance. Report abnormalities to WEILAN after-sales service.
- Discontinue use if Aiks emits unusual sounds and seek professional assistance or repairs from WEILAN.
- If all battery indicators are off after powering Aiks on, recharge before operation.
- Before lending Aiks, ensure the new operator has read the manual and assist them in becoming familiar with its basic functions.
- Only one person is allowed to control Aiks at any given time.
- Avoid touching Aiks’ chest when powered on, as the motor can generate heat that may cause burns.
- Do not push or pull Aiks’ legs while it is powered on to prevent injuries or accidents.
- Pay attention to and adhere to all cautionary notes, warnings, and instructions provided in the manual.
5. Instructions for Power-On/Off
Before powering on, manually adjust Aiks’ legs to a standard posture since it cannot move its joints when turned off. Ensuring the correct posture allows Aiks to stand up independently once powered on.
Make sure you put Aiks in the standard posture illustrated in the figure above before powering it on.
Power button
Power Aiks On
To power on Aiks, press and hold the power button for 3 seconds until a beep is heard. The button’s indicator light will turn on, and the battery level indicators will flash sequentially to display the battery level. Aiks uses AgentOS, which involves loading multiple intelligent applications during startup, taking about 90 seconds. During this time, the LCD shows a bootsplash. Aiks is successfully powered on when it blinks and issues an invitation to play.
Power Aiks Off
Aiks can be powered off using two methods when it has stopped moving and is lying down safely on its abdomen.
Normal Power-Off
- Press and hold the power button for 3 to 5 seconds.
- Release it when a long beep is heard. Aiks will shut down automatically once all indicator lights go off.
Forcible Power-Off
Note: Use this method only if the normal power-off process fails.
- Press and hold the power button for more than 6 seconds.
- Release the button once all indicator lights go off to forcibly shut down Aiks.

Note: If Aiks lies down on its own or on the charging station due to a low battery, it will automatically adjust its joints. It is not necessary to position its legs to the standard posture before powering it on again.
