Information to User

Note: This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Welcome to the Peiko Voice Translator. To help you better understand and quickly use the product, it is recommended that you read the manual carefully before using the voice translator.

Charging Instructions

Input voltage: DC 5V/1A. Charging time is approximately 2 hours. The red light will be illuminated during charging, and the white light will turn on when charging is complete. A prompt sound will indicate a low battery.

User Instructions

Scan the QR code or download the app from the app store. You can search for “ByteEngine Translator” in the Google Play Store or iOS App Store to download it.

  1. Long press the power button on the translator to turn it on (you will hear a prompt sound). After powering on, the blue light will flash, indicating that it is ready for Bluetooth pairing.
  2. After opening the app, click on the homepage to select “Trbox X9,” which will redirect you to the phone’s Bluetooth settings or device list.
  3. Turn on your phone’s Bluetooth, find, and connect to the “Trbox X9” device. You will hear a prompt sound once the connection is successful, and the Bluetooth indicator light will become steady.

  1. Connection and Translation Interface:
  2. Upon returning to the app, you will see a “Connection Successful” message, and you will be redirected to the translation interface. The device’s indicator light will turn solid green. The change from blue to green indicates that the translation function is available. A blue light signifies that Bluetooth is connected, while a green light means a successful link with the app; you can now use the translation function normally. You can determine the translator’s working status by observing the light’s color. If the connection is unsuccessful, please close the app and repeat the previous steps to attempt reconnection.
  3. Selecting Translation Languages:
  4. Select the corresponding translation languages for the “Microphone” button and the “ME” button on the translator, as instructed by the app.
  5. Improving Voice Recognition Accuracy:
  6. To enhance voice recognition accuracy, after pressing the translation button on the translator, please wait until the colorful light ring illuminates before speaking. Try to speak clearly, loudly, and in a standard voice to improve recognition accuracy. (Please ensure that you release the button after completing each sentence to avoid incomplete recognition. Try to keep each sentence under 15 seconds.)
  7. Automatic Translation Processing:
  8. After releasing the button, the translation will be automatically processed and the results will be announced. Translation speed depends on the network, so please ensure a stable internet connection.
  9. Reviewing Translation History:
  10. Click on the translation conversation history in the translation interface to hear the results read aloud again.
  11. Adjusting Volume:
  12. You can adjust the volume using the volume buttons on both your phone and the translator. The translator will emit a prompt sound when it reaches maximum volume, but there will be no sound at minimum volume.

Photo Translation

Select the language you need to translate, take a picture of the target, and the translation results will be displayed.

Offline Translation

In offline translation mode, download offline text and offline voice files from the app. Please note that these two files are separate and both need to be downloaded!

In offline translation mode, you can use the device without a network, and when a network is available, it will not use the current network or data.

Common Issues with Translator Use

  1. Device Won’t Power On: Try charging the device and check if the charging indicator light is red. Long press the power button for 10 seconds to reset the translator.
  2. App Cannot Connect to Translator: Ensure you are connecting correctly according to the instructions. Make sure the translator is not connected to another phone. If it is, disconnect it. If no other phones are connected, go to the Bluetooth menu in your phone’s settings, click on paired devices, unpair, and delete the Bluetooth name, then reconnect according to the prompts. Try restarting the app or your phone.
  3. No Translation Results Announced: If the network signal is poor, the translation may be sluggish. It is recommended to enable airplane mode and restart the network.
