*Note: 1 X Controller Stand , 2 X tall-thumbstick, 2 X short-thumbstick, are only standard for the Premium Edition.

BUTTON LAYOUT

CONNECTION

One-Touch Wakeup Function: please select the corresponding device mode before connecting

2.4G mode— 1#indicator flashes. Device name: Automatically matches receiver connected device;

PC Mode — 2#Indicator flashes. Device Name: Xbox Wireless Controller;

NS Mode — 3#Indicator flashes. Device Name: Pro Controller;

Mobile Mode — 4#Indicator flashes. Device Name: Xbox Wireless Controller;

Connect new devices: Press and hold the pairing button until the controller LOGO flashes quickly,then the controller enters the pairing state. Just connect the corresponding device name above.

Sleep/reconnect: Wireless connection use (Bluetooth/2.4G), if the controller is not operated for 10 minutes, it will automatically go to sleep; Wake up the controller by pressing the HOME key, and it will automatically reconnect.

Turn off the controller: When using wireless connection (Bluetooth/2.4G), press and hold the HOME button for more than 5 seconds to shut down the controller.

COMPATIBILITY

2.4G Mode — Supports PC, Switch, and Android TV

  • The 2.4G dongle can automatically detect PC mode/Switch mode. You can manually switch between PC mode, Switch mode, and Dinput mode by pressing and holding [@]+[ =] for 3 seconds.
  • Connect to Switch via 2.4G, you need to turn on the Pro wired controller in the system settings of the host.communication function.

Connecting in 2.4G Mode

  1. Make the Mode Toggle Switch to the 2.4G position.
  2. Insert the receiver into the USB port of the device you want to connect to. Click the button at the rear of the receiver. If the indicator light rapidly flashes, it enters pairing mode.
  3. Press and hold the Pairing key on the front of the controller for approximately 3 seconds until indicator 1# rapidly flashes, indicating that the controller is in pairing mode.
  4. The controller will automatically pair when brought close to the receiver, and successful pairing will be indicated by vibration. The controller’s indicator light will stay lit for 3 seconds to display real-time battery status, and the receiver’s indicator light at the rear will remain on.

PC MODE

  • In PC mode, when connected via Bluetooth to a computer, it supports native trigger vibration in games (trigger vibration mode needs to be switched to native mode).

Bluetooth Connection Steps:

  1. Make the Mode Toggle Switch to the PC position.
  2. Press and hold the Pairing key for approximately 3 seconds until indicator
  3. rapidly flashes, indicating that the controller is in pairing mode.
  4. On the Windows system, open Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices >Add a device > Bluetooth.

From the list of discovered Bluetooth devices, select the “Xbox Wireless Controller” and once successfully paired, the 2# indicator light will stay lit for 3 seconds to display real-time battery status.

Wired Connection Steps:

  1. With the controller powered off, make the Mode Toggle Switch to the PC position.
  2. Use the data cable to directly connect the controller to the device, and it will be ready for use.

NS Mode

  • In Switch mode, depending on your preference, you can switch to the Switch button layout by long-pressing the combination key FN + A for 3 seconds, and the controller will vibrate once as confirmation.
  • It supports the Home button to wake up the controller and the remote console.
  • It supports gyroscopic function, which needs to be enabled in games that support this feature in their settings.

Connection Steps – Bluetooth Connection:

  1. Make the Mode Toggle Switch to the NS position.
  2. Press and hold the Pairing key for about 3 seconds until the 3# indicator light rapidly flashes, indicating that the controller is in pairing mode.
  3. On the Switch home screen, open Controller Settings and select Change Grip/Order, then wait for the controller to appear.

Connection Steps – Wired Connection:

  1. In the Switch settings, enable the wired controller function and insert the Switch console into the official multifunctional dock.
  2. With the controller powered off, switch the Mode Toggle Switch to the NS position. Use the data cable to directly connect the controller to the device, and it will be ready for use.

Mobile Mode – iOS/Android /Tablet/Huawei Phone:  Connection Steps – Bluetooth Connection:

  1. Make the Mode Toggle Switch to the PHONE [J position.
  2. Press and hold the Pairing key for about 3 seconds until the 4# indicator light rapidly flashes, indicating that the controller is in pairing mode.
  3. Open the device settings, go to Bluetooth, search, and connect to “Xbox Wireless Controller.”
  4. After successful pairing, the 4# indicator light will stay on for 3 seconds to display real-time battery status.

BATTERY DISPLAY

Controller Battery Status Display:

  • 50%-74% battery —————–#2/#3/#4 channel indicator lights stay on;
  • 25%-49% battery ———-——-#3/#4 channel indicator lights stay on;
  • 10%-25% battery —————#4 channel indicator light stays on;
  • Less than 10% battery ———#4 channel indicator light flashes;
  • Charging— the corresponding channel indicator light flashes;
  • Charging is complete—LOGO light stays on, 4 channel indicator lights stay on for 1 minute and then turn off.
  • The controller has a built-in 600mAh lithium battery.

Note: During pairing and some function adjustments, the channel indicator lights will temporarily serve as function indicators and return to battery level display after about 3 seconds. When using a wired connection, the channel indicator lights display real-time charging status, while in wireless mode, they display real-time battery level.

Attention! Don’t use a power source exceeding 5V 1A to charge the controller, to avoid causing damage to the device.

*When using combination keys, it is essential to follow the specified button sequence mentioned above; otherwise, switching may not work correctly.

Note:

  • Trigger Vibration Mode:

Travel Mode: Trigger vibration intensity follows trigger press depth.

Native Mode: Only supported for Bluetooth-connected computers, supports native trigger vibration in games.

Shared Vibration Mode: Trigger vibration intensity follows hand grip vibration intensity.

  • If you adjust the controller’s light color in Keylinker, it will directly override the controller’s light color. To switch back to the original light, use the controller’s light mode combination keys.

GUIDE TO JOYSTICK REPALCEMENT

Note: Turn off the controller before

  1. Remove the magnetic cover and pull off the joystick cap;

2. Use the joystick puller, align it with the position of the joystick, and clamp up the joystick.

3. Choose a joystick of strength according to your preference and install it into the controller until you hear a “click” sound.

* Note: During installation, please make sure the tou ch point of the joystick is aligned correctly with the switch socket. When installing the joysticks, first snap thebuckle on one end, and then snap the buckle on the other end.

4. After the joystick is installed, attach the joystick cap and Close the magnetic cover.

Note:

After replacing the joystick, please calibrate the joystick.

JOYSTICKS AND TRIGGERS CALIBRATION

*During calibration, please gently move the joystick and lightly press the trigger to the fullest extent to avoid joystick/trigger issues.

HALL JOYSTICKS CALIBRATION

  1. Press and hold the[] + [B] + [HOME]buttons to turn on the calibratiotn in the power-off state
  2. Joystick calibration: fully move the joystick left and right slowly and rotate it more than three times.
  3. Press the [ ] button to complete the calibration.

TRIGGERS CALIBRATION

  1. Press and hold the[ ] + [Y] + [HOME]buttons to turn on the calibratiotn in the power-off state
  2. Trigger calibration: press the [LT] and [RT] buttons to the bottom more than once.
  3. Press the [] button to complete the calibration.

MOTION SENSING CALIBRATION

  1. Simultaneously press the [ ] button + [A]button + [HOME]button to activate the calibration function.
  2. Place the controller flat on the tabletop.
  3. Press the [ ] button to initiate automatic calibration.
  4. Wait for the controller to automatically power off. This indicates that the calibration process has been completed.

ADVANCED FUNCTIONALITY

Programming Buttons Macros:

  • Controller Operation:
  1. With the controller already connected, simultaneously press the FN key + M1/2 3/4key. The decorative light strip will continuously flash, indicating that you’ve entered the recording mode. If it doesn’t flash, please repeat this operation.
  2. Sequentially input the function keys you want to set.
  3. After setting is complete, briefly press the corresponding macro key (M1/M2/M3/M4). The decorative light strip backlight will stop flashing and return to the previous mode, indicating that the configuration is complete.

Note: Clearing the current M1 macro definition:

While the controller is in working status, simultaneously press FN + M1. The decorative light strip will continuously flash, and then press the M1 key once more. The decorative light strip will stop flashing, clearing the current custom function. The same steps apply to clearing other macro keys.

TURBO Function:

Supported TURBO buttons: A/B/X/Y/LB/LT/RB/RT

Manual TURBO Function: When the manual TURBO function is enabled for the A button, you need to manually hold down the A button to activate it.

To enable the TURBO function:

  1. Press and hold FN+A and then release it. At this point, the A button activates the manual continuous fire function.
  2. Press FN+A again. Now, the A button activates the automatic continuous fire function.
  3. Press FN+A once more to disable the continuous fire function.

Note: FN+A/B/X/Y/LB/LT/RB/RT can be used to enable the TURBO function for the corresponding buttons. When buttons are in continuous fire mode, the Home button indicator light will flash in synchronization.

For more customized functions, settings can be adjusted in the Keylinker app.

  1. Download the app and related firmware updates from the Machenike official website: https://global.machenike.com/
  2. Or scan the QR code on the right using your browser to access the download page.
  3. For HarmonyOS, please download the Android version of the app.

Connection Steps:

  1. After correctly installing the Keylinker software on your phone, confirm the relevant permissions prompts that appear when you first start the app.

2. Start the controller in any mode, and you can find “G5Pro_V2” on the Keylinker app’s main page.

3. Click “G5Pro_V2” to connect and enter the customization interface.

Note: *This function does not require the controller to connect to the mobile phone via Bluetooth. Follow the above operations to open Keylinker to change the controller settings.

ADVANCED FUNCTIONALITY

Dock Function Introduction (Ensure the dock is connected to the device for the following operations to work):

*Light Control Button: Single-click the light control button to switch between light modes. Long-press the light control button or continuous adjustment of light brightness.

Smart Start and Stop:

When the controller is removed from the dock, it automatically wakes up.

When the controller is placed on the dock, it enters sleep mode and starts charging.

 

  • Light Linkage:

When the controller is placed on the dock, the controller’s lights can synchronize with the dock’s lights. You can also control both the controller and dock lights simultaneously using the controller’s combination key [FN ]+D-Pad[→] or the dock’s light control button.

RESET

When the controller is unresponsive or unable to identify the working mode during operation or access, you can pull out the USB cable of the controller and reconnect it, or use the manual mode to select into the corresponding working mode. If the problem still can not be solved, please long press the [HOME] button for 10 seconds or check the compatibility of the operating system and equipment with the controller, if still can not be solved, please contact the dealer customer service.
