Basic Operation

Stereo

For a stereo mix setup, connect the left and right channel outputs from the mixer to the SIEM-121R. The left channel should go to the left ear, and the right channel to the right ear. Volume can be adjusted using the balance control on the SIEM-121R.

  1. Connect the mixer outputs to the transmitter inputs.
  2. Set SIEM-121T to Stereo mode. (Refer to section 5-1)
  3. Set SIEM-121R to Stereo mode. (Refer to section 5-2)

Mix

For different mono mixes, both mixes are sent to the left and right earphones. Adjust the balance control on the SIEM-121R to make one mix louder than the other, while maintaining the overall volume level in both ears.

  1. Connect the mixer outputs to the transmitter inputs.
  2. Set SIEM-121T to Stereo mode. (Refer to section 5-1)
  3. Set SIEM-121R to Mix/Mono mode. (Refer to section 5-2)

Mono

For a mono setup with only one mixer output, connect it to either LEFT/CH.1 or RIGHT/CH.2 transmitter input. Note that the mode settings on SIEM-121R (Stereo or Mix/Mono) will have no effect in this setup.

  1. Connect the mixer output to the transmitter input.
  2. Set SIEM-121T to Mix/Mono mode. (Refer to section 5-1)
