Safety instructions

Please observe the following precautions when using the printer:

• Notice Do not disassemble the printer by yourself, please read this manual carefully before use.
• Warn In the event of a malfunction, please turn off the power immediately. When you find smoke or a strange smell coming from the printer or charger, please unplug the charger immediately and be careful to avoid burns.
• Warn Please do not use the printer near flammable materials such as gas stations and fuel warehouses.
• Warn When charging, be sure to place the printer and charger in a ventilated place with a temperature of -5°C to 50°C, and be sure to use the charger provided by the manufacturer. Using an unapproved charger may cause danger and also violates the manufacturer’s regulations. stipulated warranty terms.

Preparation before use

Precautions:

1. Comes standard with 18650 (3.7V 2000mAh battery), removable. USB-Type-C charging & communication interface (input 5V=1A)
2. Please fully charge the battery before using it for the first time. When using the printer after long-term storage, it also needs to be fully charged to keep the battery in optimal condition.

1) Open the paper compartment upwards	2) Put the cardboard into the paper bin according to the roll paper specifications	3) Place the roll paper into the paper bin, making sure the heat-sensitive side of the paper is facing downwards.
4) Close paper bin	5) Scan the QR code to download SINMARK APP IOS/Android	6) Turn on Bluetooth, search for the device in the APP and connect it, and start printing.

Basic functions

1. Power on: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, the printer will power on.
2. Shut down: When the printer is on, press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to shut down the printer.
3. Short press the paper feed button to feed the paper 20mm and stop when it encounters the label seal. Press and hold the paper feed button to feed the paper 50mm and stop when it encounters the label seal.
4. Short-press the paper feed button 3 times continuously to increase the printing density (Darkness) by 1 level. When it exceeds the maximum 5 levels, it returns to 1 level.
5. Press the paper feed button 5 times continuously to increase the print quality by 1 level. When it exceeds the maximum level 3, it will return to level 1.

6. Print the self-test page

When the printer is turned off, press and hold the power button and paper feed button at the same time for 3 seconds. The printer will turn on and print a self-test page.

Indicator light status description

Detailed explanation of indicator lights

Battery indicator	When the battery is normal, the battery indicator light displays white. When the battery indicator light on the left keeps flashing, the printer will shut down after 10 seconds. Please charge it as soon as possible.	Bluetooth indicator light	Blue: Bluetooth connection is normal. Off: Bluetooth is not connected.
Charging indicator	When the printer starts charging, the battery indicator light will flash from left to right, and will stop flashing after charging is completed.	Abnormal indicator light	Red: Paper out of state. The print head is overheated. Off: normal state.

Communication

Wired communication

The printer is equipped with a USB2.0 communication interface (some models can be equipped with an optional RS232 interface), which can conduct wired communication with the host device equipped with a USB interface.

Wireless communication

The printer is equipped with a Bluetooth Class2 communication interface (Bluetooth2.0/4.2), which can communicate wirelessly with devices equipped with a Bluetooth interface. The Bluetooth name and address can be obtained by printing the self-test page.

Repair and maintenance

Routine maintenance of printer

1. Cleaning of the outside of the printer and the paper bin: Please use a wrung-out damp cloth to gently wipe the printer surface and the inside of the paper bin. Note that the wet cloth must be completely wrung out.
2. Cleaning of the detection sensor: The detection sensor must be cleaned regularly. The cleaning method is as follows:

Use absorbent cotton dipped in absolute alcohol to gently wipe the part of the printer core indicated by the thick circle in the picture on the left until it is clean.

Use and storage of printing paper

1. Please avoid storing newly purchased printing paper in places exposed to direct sunlight or high temperatures. Please do not tear open the wrapping paper when storing.
2. Please store the printed documents at room temperature (around 20°C) and away from light. This can effectively extend the storage time of the documents.
3. If user documents need to be stored for a long time, please choose long-lasting thermal printing paper.
