1. Network

1.1. Wi-Fi

  1. Check “Wi-Fi” to start scanning for available wireless access points automatically.
  2. Select an access point and enter the password.
  3. Upon successful authentication, the system will provide an IP address, indicating connectivity.
  4. Note: Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections cannot be active simultaneously.

1.2. Ethernet

  1. Click “Ethernet” to begin the automatic DHCP process.
  2. The system will disable Wi-Fi and enable Ethernet upon jack connection.
  3. Once the IP address is visible, the network connection is established.

2. Upgrade Steps

  1. Copy the OTA zip file onto a TF card or USB storage device.
  2. Connect the HDMI cable and insert the TF card or USB device into the box.
  3. Insert the other end of the HDMI cable into the designated slot.
  4. Use a stick to press the reset button located inside the hole at the bottom of the device.
  5. While holding the reset button, insert the power adapter to continue the process.

Steps to Upgrade Your Device:

  1. Press and hold the reset button until the Android reboot screen appears.
  2. Use the remote control to navigate to “apply update from EXT.”
  3. Select “Update from TF card” or “Udisk” if using a USB storage device.
  4. Choose the upgrade package file (xxx.zip) and press OK.
  5. The device will display “—install/ SD card…” indicating it is upgrading.
  6. Upon completion, the message “Install from SD card complete” will appear.
  7. Select “reboot system now” with the remote and press OK, or reconnect the power adapter to reboot.
  8. The upgrade is finished when you see the “Welcome” interface.

Tips: You can verify the update by checking the build number in the settings.

3.Trouble Shooting

Problem Solution
No power – Check if the power adapter is properly connected to the power and the TV box. – Press the power on the remote controller to turn on the power. – Check if the status LED is blue when the box is powered.
No pictures – Reconnect with HD cable or AV cable. – Check if the TV is switched on.
No sound or distorted sound – Adjust the volume. – Check that the speakers are connected correctly. – Check the digital connections.
No audio or digital output – Check if your amplifier is set correctly.
The box does not respond to the remote control – Aim the remote directly at the sensor on the front of the TV box. – Reduce the distance to the TV box. – Replace the batteries in the remote control.
Player does not respond to operations during playback – Operations may not be permitted. Refer to the user manual. – Possibility of system halted, re-insert with power adaptor to restart the TV box.
No sound during movies playback – The audio codec may not be supported by the TV box. You can change the supported audio on the playing menu. – Check the volume.
The contents of the USB cannot be read – The USB flash drive format is not compatible with the box. – If one of the USB cannot be read, please turn off the TV box for 30 seconds and restart the TV box.
Slow operation of the USB flash drive – Big file size or high resolution USB flash drive takes longer time to read and display on the TV screen.
No sound with HD connection – Check the connection between the TV and the HD jack of the box. – Check your TV system setup. – Check the volume.
The TV displays blank and has no playback – Turn off your TV box, wait 30 seconds, and then turn it on again. – If under HD status, check if HD connection is correct or change to another HD cable and set the output resolution of this TV box into 720p.
